Website Connector

When your customer is ready to go to production, the usual song and dance then becomes focused on SSL certificates, figuring out who is responsible for the DNS; and copious amounts of back and forth to get the CNAMEs just right.

EX:OH simplifies this process. When your customer is ready, you fill out the Website Connector form:

  • what is the domain they will use
  • do they also need the APEX domain to point at this site?
  • what is the email-address of those that are responsible for DNS changes?

Once you have filled out this form and press submit, EX:OH starts a workflow that will communicate throughout to:

  • configure DNS records to validate SSL certificates
  • create an AWS CloudFront distribution with valid SSL certificates
  • provides A and CNAME records to hook up the domain name to the website
  • it waits until the DNS is pointing at the correct location and finalises the workflow after that.
